Where do I start?
Talk to us! There are a couple of different scenarios we can explore.
If you have land:
...but don't have a house design yet, we can work with you and our wider network to design a home specifically for you and your site.
...and you do have plans, we'd love to work with you to bring your plans to life. Whether they're at the concept stage or already consented, we can jump in and get it happening!
If you don't have land:
...we have House and Land Packages you can select from. Either run with the house we've designed for the section, or start from scratch with something new!
...we're more than happy to visit a site you're looking to purchase and give you advice and guidance at no cost to you. There are often things we can see that a potential buyer might not!
How long does it take to build a house?
It depends on the size and complexity of the house, but generally our projects take anywhere from 6 to 12 months to complete once we have started on site.
We also spend several months planning the build, which includes having plans drawn up, selecting finishes, gaining building consent etc. which all happens before we start on site.
How much does it cost to build a house?
It totally depends on the house we're building. Things like size, location, complexity, finishes etc all impact the overall price. We have built very cost-effective homes for clients on a tight budget, and we have built beautiful architectural homes where the clients have invested in higher-end selections.
The good thing about being a small, family owned business is that we don't have many overheads, so we're able to keep our pricing competitive without having to cut corners on the service we deliver.
Can you manage the entire project for me?
Absolutely! In fact, it's generally better if we do. Our team know what has to be done, who needs to do it, and when it needs to happen, so we're more than happy to manage the entire process from start to finish for you. Sit back and enjoy your project coming to life.
Can you give me a fixed price for my build?
Definitely. We're happy to give you a fixed price for your project, and once we do, it only changes if you make changes.
Can we do a Cost + contract?
Absolutely. We'll be transparent through the entire process and you pay cost plus a margin. Too easy!
What's an LBP?
Licensed Build Practitioners are builders who have been assessed as competent to carry out building work essential to the structure or weathertightness of residential buildings. In short, you need an LBP to build a new home or complete an extensive renovation in New Zealand. Our main LBP is Luke, but we also have other LBP's on the team.

The judges are an architect and a builder from another region of the country, and they go over the entire house inside and out with an eagle eye. For us, this judging process allows us to be confident that we're building to our usual super high standards, and that our workmanship isn't slipping.
We make it easy! You can be as involved (or not) as you want to be. You can select every single item going into your home if you wish, or if you struggle with picking finishes, we can do it for you. We've done it enough times now that we know what works and what doesn't!
